Color a little with our right hand, and then a little with our left

This is Ava's new easel that Grandma Julie found at a bargain. She plays with it all the time. She's always switching up hands. I think she's right handed but she still does a lot with her left hand.
She has her dress up clothes on in these pictures. The only thing she is missing is her princess crown.

Taking a phone order

Here are some random pictures I took while Ava was playing with her kitchen. She took turns putting all her dolls in the highchair to "feed" them. She has a doll that if you squeeze it, she'll cry. Ava always pats the doll and says "It's ok, don't cry."

Here is Ava checking out the tomato plants. The weather was so nice here this weekend, so we spent a lot of time outside. I took quite a few pictures, but most of them were not any good. She just does not like getting her picture taken. I kept trying to take pictures and she finally started yelling, "Mommy, no pictures". So I was done with that!!
Tonight I was getting her ready for bed and she was making a circle in the air with her arm. She said, "Mommy, circle." I have no idea where that came from. Everyday she surprises me with something new. And the other day, we were sitting outside and she looked at me and said, "Mommy, watcha thinkin". She cracks me up!! If I could only get all this on video, so daddy could see it. I've been trying to get her to sing in front of the video camera, but as soon as I get it out, she won't do a thing. It's kind of like the regular camera! I'll have to hide the video camera and sneak up on her sometime, so Blake can hear her singing. It is so darn cute.

I'm sure it was just the angle I was at, but she looks so big in this picture. She kept looking through the rails, yelling "help, help".

You can barely see it in the picture, but Ava found the door bell today. She thought it was pretty cool how it made a noise every time you pushed it. It doesn't take much to entertain her!!

Cooking some supper

I bought this apron and hat several months ago and Ava wouldn't have anything to do with it. Finally last night, she got in her closet and got it out and wanted it on. She then made me some supper (swiss cheese). Not much of a supper!!
She has had a few firsts the past week. She can sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Hush Little Baby, and Teddy Bear Teddy Bear. She can also count to 8 (thanks to Dora)
She is learning so much. Every day it is something new.
It is supposed to be nice this weekend, so I'm sure we'll be spending a lot of time outside, so look forward to some more pictures.
