Sorry it has been a while since we have blogged anything. We have been out of town for the last two weeks. We went home to spend time with our family and friends. Our friends, Ed and Melissa Smith drove up from Alabama to see us for a few days. We were stationed in Alaska with them. It had been almost a year since we last saw them. We had such a good time with visiting with them! We met them at the Lake of the Ozarks, and stayed there for a couple days and then took them to Butler to show them where we grew up. I know, sounds pretty impressive, huh!!
We didn't do a whole lot the rest of the time we were home. We just hung out with our friends and family. We had a good time with everyone, but it was nice to get home to our own bed.

Ava's new favorite thing to do is wear other people's shoes. She gets around in them pretty well, I must say!
