Having fun at play group

Here a few pictures that I took at play group today. Ava has a great time there. Her favorite things to do are ride the rocking horse and go down the slide.

Well, since Ava had so much lotion in her hair last night and it didn't wash out very well in the bath tub, I decided to try some pony tails today. Her hair is not quite long enough to put all of the back up, but I thought she looked pretty darn cute! And thanks to the left over lotion, it stayed up pretty well.
This is the new chair I bought Ava. I have been looking forever for a chair, and all I could find were Barbie or Dora ones. That's not really my favorite! I saw this one the other day on clearance, and even though it doesn't look real girly, it looks better in my living room than Dora!!:) She loves her new chair. She and pink kitty are watching Backyardigans in this picture. She carries that kitty around all day. (Thanks Grandma Jan!)
And speaking of Backyardigans, Ava LOVES that show. We have their DVD for car trips, and every time we get in the truck she says, "backgan, backgan!"
