Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We went to a Fun Day on base Wednesday. They had all kinds of games for kids, food, a horse, and you could get in the helicopters and tanks. It was a very hot, but fun day. Ava loved the horse from far away, but wasn't too sure about it up close.
Then today, went to the zoo here in Manhattan. It was Ava's first time going to the zoo. She liked looking at the animals, especially the ducks. It's a small zoo, but perfect for little kids and hot days, because it only took a little over an hour to go through it.
Blake's mom, sister, and niece are coming over this weekend. I'm sure we'll go swimming, so I'll be posting some pictures of Ava at the pool.
